Bettina Corp. Introduces Prestige™ Bingo Hall Management System

March 6, 2006 - DALLAS, Texas

Bettina Corp., dba Blue Dog®, the makers of the popular Classic Blue™ and Big Dog™ series of handheld electronic-bingo units and Top Dog™ series of fixed-base, table-top electronic-bingo units, introduces today the Prestige™ Bingo Hall Management System.

Prestige is a completely upgraded and enhanced version of blue dog's proven point-of-sale system that has enjoyed continuous use by hundreds of North American bingo halls over the past decade. "Prestige™ offers bingo hall operators a complete, simple and secure system that seamlessly integrates game set-up (for both paper bingo and electronic bingo), cashier (POS) functions, game payouts, bingo verification, player tracking, inventory management, and related reporting," said Joe Marshall, C.E.O. of blue dog. "Additionally, Prestige™ is a modular based product so bingo hall operators can choose to use all or part of the system according to each hall's individual needs."

As always, blue dog built the database feature of Prestige™ with operators' desires in mind so the product can be scaled to the particular size of a hall (or multiple halls) in the type of database it uses. Another important feature allows operators to keep archived back-ups of their hall data on a secure remote server that can be accessed in the case of an emergency at the hall level.

Customers are already enjoying another benefit of the new system. "When we upgraded the systems, we were excited at how quickly and easily the employees learned. Prestige is very intuitive."

As in blue dog's original system, Prestige™ is password protected at every level - the operator can choose which employees have access to each feature or portion of a feature. This simple on/off "switch" system is used throughout the software. Prestige™ supports multiple users in the same location or multiple users in multiple locations through its use of web server technology.

blue dog provides full training to the operator on the Prestige™ Bingo Hall Management System. This allows operators to make their own game and package changes; there is no need to wait "two weeks" like some other manufacturers require. The enhanced Prestige™ system is in final testing at several halls in the United States and will be released in stages throughout blue dog's distribution system over the next few months.
